Scholarships

Our CDP Scholarships are need-based and designed to support aspiring actors who demonstrate both financial need and a strong commitment to their craft. This award is intended for individuals who have either a proven track record of excellence in acting or who exhibit clear potential to succeed within our program.

Ideal candidates are passionate, dedicated, and eager to grow in their craft. We are looking for students who show the drive, discipline, and creativity necessary to thrive in our training environment.

Eligibility Criteria:
Financial need
Either:
A history of excellence in acting (school, community, or professional level), or
Strong potential for growth and success in our program, as evidenced through application materials

We are committed to creating access and opportunity for talented individuals who may otherwise be unable to pursue formal training. If you believe in your potential and are ready to work hard, we encourage you to apply.

The Emerging Artist Award

This scholarship is for actors who are just beginning their journey but show exceptional promise. If you’ve had limited access to formal training but demonstrate natural talent, dedication, and a strong desire to grow, this award is designed to help you take the next step.

Ideal for:
Newer actors, high school/college graduates, or those transitioning into acting who show strong potential and financial need.

Award Amount:
Full tuition

Excellence in Practice Award

This scholarship is for actors who have already built a foundation through school, community theater, or early professional work. If you’ve demonstrated consistent commitment and achievement in acting and need financial support to continue your training, this award recognizes your past work and supports your future.

Ideal for:
Actors with a track record of training, performance, or early professional experience who are ready for the next level.

Partial tuition
